36″ Recovery Parachute (RP-36)

Description

The One Way Rocketry standard Recovery Parachute (RP) series incorporates a 50% hemispherical design with a pull-down apex and spill hole, forming an annular design. With a “Theta” of 60*, or 1.05 radians, its spill hole is half the size of the parachute itself, at 18 inches. We feel this setting gives a better balance of packing volume to strength and descent rate.

It sports 9 individual gores, each with double-stitched flat-fell seams. The RP series parachutes will blaze the official One Way Rocketry color scheme with alternating hunter orange and white, and a black “firstgore”.
